Over the last few decades, many dark works have had a muted blue or grey shade.
I do like that look, for it sets an appropriately bleak tone. Still, well nigh everybody is doing it! It’s high time for a monster with outright garish coloration.
Though most of this canvas is now bedecked with pigment, the piece is still some days from done. I shall post more progress upon the morrow.
